wrx stock clutch

Hey guys have a quick question. my clutch just currently went out on my car. i have it in the shop now and then are putting a stock clutch on it. now when i bought the car the guy i bought it from said it had an sti clutch on it. Now am i really going to be able to tell the difference between this clutch and the sti one? my car is completely stock. what do you guys thing?

unless you have aftermarket gears i would go with stock anyways. Not sure but I am thinking that the clutches are the same anyways.

STi 6 speed clutch is a little wider than our 5 speed clutches. To have one put in our cars transmission bell housing needs to be dremelled out a little. Likely you had an upgraded Subaru STi factory clutch for the WRX (if any at all). Nonetheless, stock WRX clutch is really good and will last for a long time especially on a stock car.

The previous owner's a liar or a fool. Either way, just put a stock clutch on it and don't stress it.
