Mosc, around nj theres alot of both stock and modded. Not too many around here upgrade the turbo they mostly do a stage 2.

well remember even if you got the same turbo, the WRX gets the EJ255 and the STi gets the EJ257 which has some advantages, espeically with tuning. A 06+ WRX with a VF39 is not going to match a stage 2 STi.

Well I will say Im very pleased with my car, the 6 months I drove it that is. I dont have STI envy (not yet at least). A stronger tranny would be nice, but not a 6th gear in my opinion. But that said, everyone has one, you will be happy with either

Heh, The STI envy will get you if you can afford it. I had my 06 wrx and made it almost exactly a year before the envy got the best of me. I'm just waiting for the heat and humidty to go away...so i can play with some parts and tuning.

I just hit 800miles on my new 08 5door today. I love the car man. I sorta have the sti envy, because I told myself I would not drive a CAR in general unless it was an sti. But ya no I ended up with the new wrx, and I love it. It's not an sti, but I am satisfied. Right before I bought it I met a girl which is up in Calgary,so I'm going to be doin the denver-calgary drive here next week. Anyways, I'm stoked on the rex cause my avg mpg is like 25/28 highway and I have a heavy foot... It was a good buy for me.
peace

I'm going on my 6th yr with my bugeye and I still get a thrill driving it. 70'000mi+,crossed the country and back three times and season after season still going strong. The only problem has been I can't get out of work beacuse of bad weather. If ya' wanna' git through git a SUBARU!!!

How much money do you have to put into these cars to hit 13's in the 1/4, with reliability?

I hear you leoh, you got the horsepower. But the STI has so much more than just the numbers on the dyno. Not going to rag on you, but just saying. Congrats on the new power. Hope you have supporting trans mods and what not.
