What front end is this?

Hey all, brand new here. I'm in the market for a 2001-2003 WRX and came across this one.

2003 Subaru Impreza WRX AWD 4dr Sedan For Sale In San Bruno San Francisco San Mateo Rolling Motors

Two questions:
What front end is this? Is the part of the front bumper with all the holes alongside the grill interchangeable?

Is this car a good buy?

Sorry for the noobness.

Thanks.

Jacob

car is in excellent shape, but i think they are asking too much. usually i see these cars around the same on CL for 8-9k (and those are dealer prices) if you can get them down i would say go for it. then again these guys know moer than me, im sure someone with m,ore knowledge will chime in.

Thanks for the input. I'm trying to decide how I feel about the front bumper. The color has grown on me.

I forget who makes it, but the grill surround (between the headlights) is an aftermarket piece and yes it is (easily) interchangeable. The front bumper is OEM.

Looks good, Price is a bit high and that inter-cooler looks like its seen some Bakersfield sized bugs but otherwise it looks solid. Bluebook in great shape is 7 but most wrxs hold their value better than KBB would suggest. If you can get it for less than 9 i would say go for it.

That grill surround is definitly aftermarket and pretty easy physically to install but your gonna have a hell of a time trying to color match 10 year old yellow paint. and 10 year old clear-coat. The bumper looks stock and it actually looks kinda nice with the 3 holes matching the 3 vents on the bumper.

As far as being a good car to buy, They are a hell of a lot of fun to drive, the tuning community is very strong and the engine will run for 200k miles at least, as long as it is well maintained and not driven excessively hard they are great cars.

This is it exactly.

I'm Randy

The color is sonic yellow, only made in 2003. Also only 1500 hit our shelves, so it is a bit "rare". 2002 would have been the more rare yellow with only 450 being made in the USDM market. All in all, it's the third rarest Wrx color to date.

The car looks to be in great shape and stock except what was already pointed out by BRFatal.

That price is too high also. I shop these cars on a weekly basis. $8000 is more like what the asking price should be.
Im gonna have to agree with The K-Kid on this one. Sheesh !

Good luck and happy shopping. Keep the questions rolling in

What are the first and second rarest colors?
