i know long list hehehe the engine was rebuilded about 4 months ago & he installed the internals at the same time
is it a daily use car?i want a car that i can go to work everyday without any trouble & on weekends do some pulls & just drive around?so ### advise me im new to subaru's
thnx alot guys
best regards Ali
sounds like your putting in alot of money for just using a VF34 you can put that turbo on with stock internals, reall just get that fuel pump with those injectors and a AP or some type of EM, pass of the BOV though, you could also buy a really nice set of PPG gears for your stock 5 speed as well. But if you wanted to do all that internal work maybe go for like a GT35 turbo or something bigger and better than a IHI turbo, those are kinda a older turbo, or something like a 18g
u got me wrong i want to buy a car with this setup i'll just change the turbo unit to somthing bigger like gt30 gt35 & a stand alone ECU.the car is raelly cheap & i knw the guy he rebuilded the hole engine & installed all the internals 4 months ago so what do u think?
sounds like alot has been changed. You basically have no room for improvement or customization, only a larger turbo.
I think it is great! Find out who did all the work on it and how is their reputation...
Nice find...
Thats a pretty rediculous list. If you have no intention of really wanting to mod it a lot yourself go for it. The DP on there sucks, I'd replace that, the turbo, injectors, maybe go FMIC, and I'd get a recirculating BPV. You can run a big turbo on there with work on the engine internals.
Who built the motor? Who did the swap? What is it running for EM? Who tuned it? What is the asking price?
I would ask these questions and then check the rep of person/shop. The last thing you want to is buy a highly modded car just to have it blow up beacuse of poor workmanship.
I would pay about 10k for that car assuming the rebuild on the motor was done <10,000 miles ago... If he's asking big money for it I'd walk away. Highly modded cars are generally a very bad idea. ESPECIALLY if you don't really understand the cars very well.
he dynod it at 290 & after the rebuild he drove it for like less than 4000 miles & yeah it is cheap.i live in KSA so here we dont have alot of Subaru tuners but i know almost the best tuner in the middle east region & he is the one going to tune it 4 me
Personally I would be stoked on the internal engine mods and drive train. Sell the stuff you don't like or want on the car and use that to fund your turbo and other mods. Personally I wouldn't want all the interior and exterior add ons, so I would get rid of those put car back to stock visually and go sleeper stylie! To each there own though. You have plenty to work with there and I just would want to put my own touch on the car. How much are you paying if you dont mind?
