Tial Wastegate Spring

Hi everyone, this might sound like a completely weird question. But here it goes, does it matter who manufacture's the spring for the wastegate? I mean a spring is a spring correct? I don't have to buy a spring directly from Tial. Would it be possible if I could just use this?

NEW Traxxas Front Spring Shock GTR 0.9 Orange Jato 5428 - eBay (item 380045442858 end time Oct-08-08 14:31:02 PDT)

Let me know what you guys think. I was just curious. Thanks again.

A spring is not just a spring any more than a piece of metal is just a piece of metal. If you are using it for more than scrap, there's a lot to a spring other than the name. Yes, buy the correct spring and nothing else.

How come anytime anybody links to ebay anymore it's complete garbage?

why dont you just bend a paperclip into a spring like shape... but in all seriousness you dont want cheap or RC car parts on something as important as your wastegate.
