Garrett's post from NASIOC-
Guys...
I completely understand and respect that cross posting is a no no. Previously the thread about our stolen WRX was in the regional forum because it was a regional issue. Now however the car has been recovered and it is stripped of more than 20,000 dollars worth of modifications.
As our vendor forums demonstrates the market for used parts in indeed nationwide. For this reason I am also posting the stolen car thread in OT, in hopes that the extremely large quantity of users who browse this forum will keep their eyes and ears open.
We have no idea when or where the stolen goods will show up for sale, but the sheer quantity of stolen items suggests that without a doubt the perps will try and sell at least some of the items.
The only hope we have is that someone will emerge selling some or many of the goods from the car at once. Many of the items are extremely rare such as the 18 inch advan wheels and what not, and they should be easily traced back to this car. (We have many serial numbers.)
All in all, all that I can ask is that you guys please be extra aware. We would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post as it is somewhat of a last ditch effort to recoup some of this massive loss.
Whaa?! What I want to know is; Why is a car with over $20,000 in mods sitting somewhere that it can be stolen? It should ALWAYS be in a Garage if it's not in use, or being watched.
Thieves make me sick! DIE, DIE, DIE!!! Ok, I'm better now.

I hate thiefs. They take people's hard work and sell them. I wish we could casterate every thief there is on this planet, then we would finally see an improvement regarding crime.
that really makes me sick someone can work their butt off for a year and spend a ton of money and someone can just come right up and take it in less than a minute i would say that alot of this stuff will never be recovered but for garretts sake i hope they find it and catch the sob(s) who did this
.....
....thats why my car has lo-jack on it, a factory alarm , and a map #7 -no run on the utec. If they can defeat all three , they get the car. I knew when I bought the car that it would have a crap load of aftermarket parts on it, so I went aheld with the safety mods. Yes i know that it sucks that someones whole work can go away like that.I had a complete stereo (cd/amps/12's ) stolen from my 3rd car. You get that sinking stomach feeling when u see a brick in your passenger seat with glass everywhere. The market for wrx parts is RED HOT right now and if the demand is there theives will take advantage of it.. Its a crappy world.....

I knew a guy that had a Club, autolock, and a kill switch on his ride along with plenty of mods. The thieves straight up just towed it away. So I second you, it's a crappy world...

Well, if somebody wants it THAT bad, then there is nothing you can do about it. Plain and Simple. Well...... Joey's idea may work. .44 Mag!
