stock ported and polished headers

I'd never heard of it being done. While I was searching I read a post somewhere that gave me the impression it was possible. Anyway, how does one decide which way to go?

Depends on what sound you want, at least thats what it boils down to to me. I have heard people get just as good a gain out of PnP stockers with the high flow crossover pipe and that retains the boxer rumble. Its just a decision that one would have to make according to their own taste.

Earlier it was mentioned that some brands/styles might NOT be beneficial to one car and beneficial to another as far as gains. I think Chase wants to know how to find out what setup or brand is right for his car and why based more on performance then sound. I want to know too.

By reading the comparison link I posted way earlier.It's no different than chosing a turbo,intake or any other part.It depends on your goals and budget.EL headers will make more power than all other but you might lose some slight spool up depending on design but gain midrange and topend.
