STI short throw for a 02 wrx

I have an 02 WRX and i just took an sti for a test drive...wasnt really going to buy it, I just never drove it before. Anyways is it possible to get the STI short throw for a 02 wrx or does it not fit? And if they do, does anyone know how much subaru usually sells it for or where i could get a good price on one?

Subaru sells it. My '03 WRX came with it as an option.

May not be exactly the same, since the STi is a 6 speed, but much better than stock.

The one u have, is it just the short throw shifter that subaru sells or does it have something to do with the sti? And yeah i kind of figured that since it was a 6 speed. I've used the short throw that subaru sells and ive used the sti short throw and i def liked the sti one better, thats why i wanted to get that one. And if i cant get the sti short throw anyone have any recommendations on a good short throw other than one sold by subaru?

Kartboy makes the brushings and getting the STi shifter wouldn't make that big of a difference; the shifter itself wont viberate and much and will some what smoother, nothing worth paying more for though.

Go with the kartboy shifter too, more bang for its buck. I honestly dont think the STI short throw can back up its price. To damn expensive. Got the kartboy and I cant imagine using anything else. $123 bux with bushings and priority shipping @ kartboy.com
