ok after talking to cobb, they claim that an off the shelf map would be fine for what i got and the guy also said that the older models are less picky about intakes. i think ill leave the intake on hopoe i dont fry anything and flash to stage 1 when i get the cash. broke right now. u guys think an ots map woulod work without killing my engine?

Perrin's intake is one of the worst ones made for GD Subarus as it throws off sensor reading more than most other intakes. It absolutely needs a custom tune. The best choices for intakes are K&N, AEM, APS (used), and KSTech.
