Yes, that big strong STi tranny can break easily too if put in the wrong hands. It sucks that that guy has a car that most of us dream of and he treats it like that . So be careful when you go to look at a used WRX, STi. You never know what that jackass may have done to it

I thought he broke his right rear axle, not the tranny. At the rate he's going, it won't be long though !

The description said he broke a halfshaft, but that sure does look like 1st gear to me. Those launches were worth it though. That thing was a rocket.

I had first gear go out on me 2 times and that shure looks like what happened but yea the launches were nice.

my buddy pulled the same stunt. he is dumb for doing this. at my grad party a year back he took 5 people in his car. put it against the rev limiter and side stepped the clutch.. blew 1st right out of the car. he made a fool of himself infront of over 100 people.
