Quick simple mods?

I have an 02 wrx and im in the process of saving up for a turboback exhaust+header and up-pipe and a protune and i was wondering if there were any quick yet effictive visual or preformance mods that i can do while i wait for the fun stuff. ive already done the DRL delete and was wondering if there were any other free/cheap things to do...

You could always clear/black the inside of your housing, color match or even change the color of your subaru emblem. If its a 5spd short shifter and busings are relatively cheap and make a world of difference when shifting.

Intercooler tilt mod. Silencer delete. Steering rack bushings are pretty cheap and a nice improvement compared to stock.

CVR Motorsports - Subaru :: WRX :: 2002-2003 :: Suspension :: Bushings & Antilift Kits :: Steering Rack Bushings - 02/05 WRX & 04 STI

haha already color matched.. tail lights are color blended.. im masking off turn signals on the headlights and painting those the same as my taillights with a transparent color blend, kinda like eyelids. i could probibly go for some new bushings but ive heard short shifters are tranny killers.

if you cant tell i work at a bodyshop and here lately ive had alot of free time.

Search it on NASIOC, pretty simple to do. I couldnt tell in your pic that your lites were done. I havent read too much about the SS destroying the tranny. I guess its all in how you shift or drive, it could attribute to it. But I have been running mine for about 2 years with the Cobb SS and front/rear bushings, its nice not swimming through the gears anymore.
