Problem with turbo timer HELP!

this is actually "trek98xc" but im on my friends computer. anyway... i put on the blitz dcII turbo timer today. got the boost gauge working properly and everything lights up and works properly except for the turbo timing function itself. i know that the purple wire on the contoller is supposed to go to the light green wire down by the e-brake and that seems to be connected fine. and then i cut the green and black wire by the fuse box as well as the greyish white wire that goes to the e-brake. i think i did everything properly, but its not working. and on top of that the ABS light is on now for some reason. if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

youre right i think. i put the light grey wire back together and the abs light is off. i even got the timer to work properly. i also threw on an mbc today and everything is ok with that (thats why i got the turbo timer in the first place is because its got a boost gauge for the mbc). my only problem now is that i cant use my keyless entry to lock the car while its running. i did cut the dark green/ black wire above the fuses and i read that youre supposed to cut the grey wire by the e-brake but clearly that was incorrect. are there any other wires i need to do anything with for the keyless entry to work?

I'm pretty sure all I did was cut the dark green wire with a black strip and it worked fine

I'd reconsider that move.

As for your keyless, it won't work with the car running anyways. I just lock the doors manually when I get out.

I have the same turbo timer that he is talking about and I am able to lock the doors with my remote while the timer count's down with the car running

ok thanks. ill recheck the black and green wire and make sure it was the right one. i dont see how it would be wrong but whatever. as far as my mbc, i have no intention on keeping it in my car for very long. im just using it until i have enough money to spare for an accessport. but considering im in college, my credit card bill is at $1200, and abercrombie and fitch pays minimum wage, i dont really have the cash to throw down on that quite yet. i knew i shouldnt have even mentioned that. i know its a bad idea to even have on on these cars but i definately think that people somewhat overreact to the use of them.

my keyless entry doesn't work either with the blitz dcII counting down. not a big deal though, just lock it manually like 9d2tsi said.

Did you guys get the installation kit with it maybe that has something to do with it? I couldn't lock my doors until I cut that dark green wire with the black stripe

and i think its annoying to have to lock my car with the button inside. i didnt pay this much for a car to not have keyless entry. and besides that im stupid and ill lock my keys in one of these days.
