Hey guys I just bought a 2015 WRX #Dreamcar and I wanted to make the car sound and perform a lot nicer than what it already is (stock)I'm actually really new to this and don't know much about performance. So my main question is, and bare with me when I say this lol, how can I get the car to sound nicer when it's moving BUT also when it's just sitting in nutural. I see a lot of cars at stop lights, stop signs, etc and they sound so nice. How can I do that ?
Start doing research on here and other places. There are many great articles for our cars and a lot of different directions to go as far as performance goes.
As Ruso stated, those options will allow for more noise while not requiring a tune. Any power mods will require a programmer and retune, and the cost rises greatly with more mods, it's also a great idea to research parts after you've determined the end goal of your ride. A track car will require heavier mods than a DD, and a rally car will have even more different mods than a track car.
So I did some research and I've found out the a Cat-back would be more suited for my car considering all the parts I have are stock, but now the real question is, which cat back exhaust is best for a WRX yet adorable?
I only have the axle-back but I'm happy with it. I definitely recommend the company.
