The Peace Sign from other WRX drivers

In the past two weeks i have driven on the same road or crossed paths with a few other WRX's and Sti's. As we saw each other the other driver flashed me the peace sign with their fingers. I returned the gesture. It was a friendly exchange between two fellow Suby drivers. I also made the same exchange with a driver of a brand new EVO. Is this something that others have experienced?

It should be either that, or some type of friendly wave. Some love to do it, others dont really get it it seems. Whats really nice is when you get a wave or something of the type from a Legacy, or Outback, or any of the other type of subaru out there.

Its awesome when you see fellow drivers on the road and can wave. My only dilemma now is since it is getting cold how am I going to get my wave across to other drivers, do I wave in my car at them? Do I hurry and put down my window and wave?

Deli, you just make it happen, lol. I usually just try and do the wave in the car, hopefully they see.

Heres the thread on this site about subies and waving: Wave to fellow WRXs?

I always wave. Sometimes you get a wave back... sometimes you dont... sometimes you get a really weird look... and one time I got the finger. I guess you just got to roll the dice and see what happens. Personally, I like it when I get a wave back.
Oh, I am usually waving in my car b/c it is winter up here (or feels like it) 8 months out of the year.

I like this exchange. I will continue to do it in the future. It makes me feel like i am part of something bigger.
