Question New to WRXtuners! Quick Question

Hey guys im new to the site and a WRX as well. I just recently bought a black 04 WRX, hence the name, ha any way i do have basic knowledge about tuning cars and what everything does but just not about the WRX, mostly DSM's. I am planning to buy a TBE from TurboXS and i was wondering if my car would still run right? or would i right away have to buy an engine managment system or a turbo timer, i reasearched about EMS's and reflashes and i understand the diffrence but i probably plan to do a turbo upgrade somewhere down the future so thats what i plan to get. any recomendations? or help would be appreciated thanx guys

IMO I would first buy some type of EM the easiest one i would say would be the Cobb Accessport, then you can buy your TBE and also another good idea would be a up pipe get rid of that stock one on there, then after that you can get a different turbo and you can go get a pro tune, but its all up to you what EM you want to run, i have the Cobb and i love it. its really easy to use

I agree with VD5505. EM is probably the best start. Even a stage 1 flash is better than stock. Plus then you can stage 2 with the DP/TBE and get better "power" out of the setup. A tune is best, but with EM you can have several different setups/maps to switch between if you like. I also run the Cobb AP, way too easy to use.
