New WRX owner in NH looking for help

Hey Guys,
This is kind of more of an introduction just saying hello. I recently purchased an 03 Rex 50k miles and a boat load of mods. Now i realize this being my first turbocharged vehicle, i shouldnt have bought one with 10 grand under the hood, but hey i guess if it doesnt work out....uhh ill be out of a lot of money! But i was just wondering if there is anyone in the southern NH area who could help me out on a weekend or somethin get to know the car. Also i have a Turbo XS Utech, that is not installed and i was wondering if thats something that someone, with good knowledge of the tuner, could help me install and tune. But excellent site helped with a lot of questions i had after searching around for a while.

I live in central NH. I'm kinda new at WRX's too. There is actually people in NH that own modded WRX's.

We need awd turbo's to outrun Moose and Bears! And the roads up here are just too fun.

The stock ECU can be tuned to do lots of things. "EM" does not imply new hardware. The important part is that your car is tuned for the mods it has. That tune does NOT require new ECU hardware necessarily. UTECs are useful (though very old tech at this point) but you don't want to butcher the tune that's already on there (if there is one).

If you have 10 grand under the hood; i'm assuming they are mostly performance parts, i sure as hell hope you've got 6 grand in your tranny so it doesn't shatter every gear... Do you know if it has anything done to the tranny? With 10 grand under the hood, you could have a lot of performance mods in there and be pushing some mad horsepower.... Correct me if i'm wrong but, Isn't that quite dangerous for your stock tranny?
