New to upgrading and need some help

Hi I'm new to the forum and I have a 2012 WRX wagon with about 9k miles on it and I think it's time for some performance modifications! Unfortunately I have no idea what I'm talking about or what I'm doing . I would definitely like to increase the HP and torque but I do not want to push the car to its limits. I would like this to be a fast, fun, reliable, safe upgraded WRX. I just ordered a Cobb AP and a Cobb intake and airbox. I'm assuming I need to go stage 2 to get over 300hp...What is a safe way to do this and what is everything you reccomend I upgrade? I don't want to have to worry about boost creep or blowing my engine or anything. Thank you in advanced for your help!

Safest way to go stage 2 is to get a catted 3 inch bellmouth or divorced wastegate downpipe and catback exhaust of your choice (whichever you like the sound of). Install, reflash, and enjoy. if you want even more piece of mind for safety you should get a pro tuned map. A tuner can load a custom map onto your ap. I'm not sure about tuners in your area but you can either get a street tune, dyno tune, or e-tune. Are you wanting 300 hp to the wheels or at the crank? There is a substantial difference between the two. Im not sure 300 hp to the wheels is possible on the stock wrx turbo with only a stage 2 tune. I could be wrong though. Someone els can probably chime in on that. Happy modding!!
