Size: 41.6 KBWell as the title sayin it i just bought myself my first WRX and i had to go Bug Eye as i luv the body. She has 136k on it two owners and she has been pretty much babied. she is not the best as it comes to paint there is a few scratches but i was planing on painting her some point anyways. The car is also pretty much stock minus the injen cold air intake. Will be doing a few things to her like an STI Wing as i just luv the wing from the 04-07's, JDM STI hood scoop, and also need to find the best price for the dash clock gauge parts as my clock dont work anyways. Will post some pix when i get the chance as its 1904 right now in San Diego.

Get rid of the intake unless it's tuned for...

Welcome do you know if the maintance was done? If not you may want to look into that. Get ready to change every fluid possible, plugs, all belts including timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner, t-stat.

From what i have been told and i will be taking it to the tech that has been working on it for the guy this week. That all fluids have been done, the timing belt has been done it was a Navy Officer that owned it before me so im hoping i can take his word but i will talk with the tech this week. She is running damn strong tho.

Not trying to be a d!ck, but most intakes skew the MAF readings and will screw up the A/F ratio on the car that isn't tuned for that intake. So, it's why it would require a tune to eliminate lean/rich conditions.

Turmic, i was not saying you were. and i thank you for the look out. as i said the Car came with it so i will ask the Tech to look into it when i take it in. The fact that someone would have the decency to let me know is whats great.

Gongrats man, The bugeye is one of my favorite years which is why I bought one about 5 months ago. Get rid of the OEM uppipe as soon as you can and get a nice Cattless Uppipe. One of the first upgrades I did and well worth it.

You shouldn't have to worry about a catless uppipe when emissions time comes around. From what I've heard that has to do with the downpipe, if you go catless you probably won't pass. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Smart thinking, That's exactly what I'm doing. Keeping my stock downpipe and completing my cat back. It's a nice cheap upgrade along with a Light Weight Crank Pulley.

Bugeyes rule! Let's see some pics. Yea, An intake is a pretty useless mod on a bugeye and I think the dash clock gauge pod is a good idea. I too am looking for this as I got a new stereo that has a clock so now I have 2 clocks. Also leave the blow off valve alone. The stock one is best.

All right, where is the distributor cap? I need to find the #1 plug wire to hook up my SUN machine.
