New From Illinois

hello, Im from Illinois. I currently drive a 2013 Satin White Pearl WRX Premium that I just bought on Monday with 4000 miles on it . My other vehicles I own include a 2002 Trans am WSQ, a 1995 GMC Sonoma (getting a 6.0 LQ9/4L80e swap), a 2008 Triumph Daytona 675 Special Edition, and a 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback (wifes car). Ive owned and modified a 78 trans am, a 78 lebaron, 68 challenger, 2000 ZX2, 1998 Intrepid, 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1995 Trans am W/nitrous, 1968 Firebird w/LS1 & 4l80, and a 2002 trans am twin turbo LS7.

I am ASE Certified and also have certifications in welding, but I currently only use those skills for myself. I work at a screw manufacturer and do everything from making the maintenance on the machines, to tooling, to producing the parts, and then shipping and receiving as well. Ive been there my entire life, so ive been able to learn as ive gone along. I also Used to work for a few custom shops and detail shops and do it on weekeds to supplement my income.

Herre's my fleet

That's Illinois for ya. Pay too damn much for this damn state.....
Where are you in Illinois? I live in the Chicago area.

ed: Also sweet SWP hatch. I was looking for a hatch wrx for so long but they're so expensive for some ridiculous mileage. Really diggin it!

I work 5 minutes from O'hare, and live 10 minutes from midway... This state is ridiculous with its taxes and corruption, but its whatever. Its where my job is, and the pay helps to offset the illinois cost.

Damn, nice cars and it sounds like you won't have any issues getting hands on with your rides. Very nice...I know a few members on here that would like to be your neighbor for a pair of helping hands. Welcome to the forum.
