New 04 WRX with mods help!

Hey guys I'm new to the forums and the subaru scene and also to force induction engines. I bought a 2004 WRX sedan with some mods and it is FAST! I'm worried about if it has a tune or not because I got it from the dealer and no way of contacting the previous owner that i know of. Here are the mods:
CAI with a Injen filter in the fender well
HUGE Downpipe like 4" and 3" cat-back exhaust(there is a cat)
Boost guage (working)
Innovate Motorsport LC-1 with A/F guage (works but needs a new O2 sensor according to the error code it shows)

Now the car is damn fast it seems to go 0-60 in about 5 seconds and it will run about 12psi max in 2nd gear, about 14psi in 3rd gear, and i got it to almost 16psi in 4th gear at like 5k rpm but thats when I slowed down because i was going about 110 up a hill. The weather here in SC is about 85-90 degrees F.
It has a CEL and the only code it shows is EVAP system leak detected.
It seems to run great the only thing i notice is sometimes the idle searches a bit between 500-600rpm sometimes going low to where if it was much lower it would stall, it only does this sometimes and only when it has already warmed up.
What im wondering is if it wasnt tuned would it throw more codes with these mods?
I'm just worried that without a tune it could damage my engine.
I have driven it over 3000 miles since i got it in about 2 weeks. (mainly because of the road trips I absolutely had to make and this is my only car)

IS there any way to tell for sure without spending money on $100 cables. Is there any CHEAP method of data logging where i could post results for some of you guys to look at? or any other way to tell for sure because I'm almost scared to drive it hard anymore until i know for sure... Thanks for any help!

Well the exhaust might not be 3" it could be 2.5 but I doubt that matters. I just want to figure out for sure if it is tuned!

Is it belled where it meets the turbo?
Pics are always a great help with this sort of stuff.

The flange where the exhaust meets the turbo does not match up perfectly (obviously it bolts up perfectly but the actual flange shape is not exact, but pretty close. The pipe does not really have a bell shape to it, it's a rather constant taper throughout the length and it is pretty large like I said. I will post some pics in a little while. In the mean time is there any more info anyone can give me? Or any more thoughts?

You would be better off retuning for all the mods on there.

Get everything cleaned/buttoned up and post pics.

Get the maintainence all done and then take it for a tune.

What I'm saying is "better to be safe than sorry".

Here is the intake and the exhaust at the cat connections. I have not added any mods since I bought the car. I'm thinking my first step is to replace the O2 sensor for the A/F gauge so I can see how that is running, because from what I understand these mods w/o a tube will cause it to run DANGEROUSLY lean and overboost.

I didn't think so. So does the fact that it's not throwing any other codes mean it is tuned? Or does anybody know how I could data log it for cheap and would anybody be able to tell if it was tuned or not from the datalog?

I'd be more concerned with the junk intake on it than the downpipe. Get it tuned. Don't destroy your investment trying to save $300 on a tune.

I planned on getting it tuned but I don't want to waste $300 if it already is tuned, I'm just trying to find out, I'm not really asking if I should or not. I'm not having any problems but I am looking for a way to check if it has a tune.

I don't see how you're going to be able to tell without at least borrowing someone tatix cable and their laptop that has RomRaider/OS software.

Perhaps if I called the dyno tuner near me in Ladson SC they could check to see if it is tuned, (god forbid it be mated to an accessport!) and then if it's not I can get it done. They charge $150 am hour for pro tune on the AWD dyno.

I just don't have the money for that right now so is there a way to tell if it is running safely? Are there any warning signs to look for?
