My '08 WRX

Hey all, pretty new to the site so I thought I would start here. I bought an 08 WRX hatch earlier this summer and I freaking love it! I wanted to document the progress of the car and I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone willing to give it.

So I bought the car in April or May of this year. Drove the car stock for a few months and in August I picked up a Cobb Access Port. I ran the stage 1 91 ACN tune for a few months and loved the way the car felt. But just earlier this week my brother and I installed a TurboXS catless downpipe. Anyone else have one? and what CB did you end up going with? Should I just try and make things easier and get a TurboXS CBE?

Thanks Doc Oc

Pics to come soon.

That's completely up to you.
Do an intake and do a full stage 2

My advice would be to get involved and drive your WRX like it was designed to do; Time Attack, Autocross, Lapping Days and Nav Rally.

See what it can do before you start modding it. It's already a capable auto, and then you'll have a baseline performance impression for future "improvements".

Not disagreeing with you laszlo, but not everybody wants to track.

I love just having that TQ under my foot. I don't track and don't plan too.
I would love to learn rally. But that would cost more than I can afford.

Theres lots of rally cross events around the states, i'm sure theres some around you. They are like autoX, minimal safety requirements, and its a great way to build up off road driving skills.

To the OP, Crongrats, these cars are great. Any CB should fit up fine with the downpipe.

I'd love to learn some rally techniques, I just have no idea where to start.

Thanks, cool I'll have to look around for CB then. I got the DP off of RallySportDirect.com I loved the service. Shipping was super quick and free. Anyone else got another website that they regularly order from?

I'm a huge fan of Rallysport direct. As you said, they've always shipped super fast. You can start by looking at the vendors on here.

That's how I do it. Click the pic in FB, view full size. Copy that link and then come here and pick the picture icon above. Erase the http:/ crap, so it's blank. Than just paste it in.
