I wont be going any farther than stage 2 with this car. But I play on selling my two harleys this spring and using the money to build a race inspired GC8 with a built ej20 with the proceeds. I live so close to Watkins Glen International that it would make more sense to build a street beast/road racer but Im almost leaning toward a rally inspired build. Ive kind of outgrown my hot rod/harley stage in life and have definately been bitten by the boost bug. I just can't get away from having toys.

Nice choice in chasis for the race car. When you get it started please share the build with us. I know Im interested in it. Good luck with it and the WRX.

The really nice part is that I can get a built trans for the cost of a case of beer. A good friend of mine is the lead tech for a local shop that builds serious transmissions. All Ive got to do is get some Coors Light longnecks and whatever parts you guys help me decide on for the build.

Beautiful Coupe, would love to get my hands on something like the tinker with. As far as transmissions go, google or reasearch STI 6spd, PPG gears, and PAR gearsets. Those are probably your best bets there. PAR an PPG are both 5spd that have several different variations to them, the STI 6spd, well its just that, but there are a couple different versions and ways to go about it also.
