lower my knob .lol shift knob

Hi i have a 2013 wrx i had subaru install the the aftermarket short throw shifter from there parts catalog with a sti knob , k love the way it shifts but was wondering if i can lower the height ? Of the knob. I looked on youtubeand saw the twm m1 abrams .. has anyone here used this knob ? I spoke to them they said it can lower the knob maybe a inch. Any help let me know...

I have a TWM Type R in graphite on my 2013, without any of the removable inserts installed, it will lower quite a bit. These are awesome quality items and these guys know what they are talking about.

boot retainer

do i need to get a boot retainer also .. I already ordered the knob from TWM . on youtube clip this guy said he didnt need the retainer .

Cobb's short shifter is double adjustable as in the height and throw are both adjustable.

this is what i went with. Cobb short shifter and bushings. the height is at least 15-20% lower than stock. not sure about the STi.
