Seems discount tire direct has some pretty reasonable shipping rates to Canada (free with a 200 duty charge). So basically 200$ shipping.

Tirerack is upwards of 350. And they also guarantee no fees at delivery.

Found these:

18/8. They look legit but IDK. Yoshihara dy-37c

They're a huge outfit! There's gotta be something you like on there lol!

Those are nice though. What's the offset specs?

That's the thing about them.. There isn't an offset listed. However from what I've read online, if it is listed under "fits" your vehicle - it will - or they will give you your money back (which doesn't help my 200$ shipping)

Looking for Wheels. -Questions

I just went on Yoshi's site. They're 40mm which is too low IMO if going with an 8" wheel on a DD. All they're wheels seem to be 40- unfortunately...

Figures. Doesn't look like discount tire really has much to offer.

I don't mind some of the "drag" brand wheels. seem to be a popular replica choice.

Yeah Drag makes a few good looking wheels, and ones with 8" et47/48 options too! They're one of the better replica brands out there. I know multiple people that run their wheels and haven't ever heard of any problems with them. Not a bad wheel brand for the money IMO.

Put in a request seeing if tirerack would match the shipping that discount tire will.

Because tirerack has 10x the tires that will fit my wrx - including the bremmer kraft ones.

Yeah those Bremmer wheels are nice!! Hope they help you out man. I agree though, they prob will, cause they're both very much competitive in the market for wheel purchases. Good luck!

I can't speak for out of country shipping, but Tire Rack and Discount Tire generally cost within a few dollars of each other in the end. Discount Tire has higher item prices but free shipping (to the US) while Tire Rack has lower prices but you have to pay shipping.

Rota makes a wheel that looks like this. 18x8.5 +45 Linea Corse Lemans.

Isn't 8.5 wide too much for my 08? I like the look of those wheels.

And, haven't heard back from tirerack yet.

As for international shipping it was 809$ shipped from discount, and it was 897 from tirerack, and the wheels I was looking at discount were 100$ more.

Looking for Wheels. -Questions

I personally wouldn't run an 8.5" et45 on yours or any DD. Even for a wide body that's overboard. But that's just my opinion. Stance is all a personal opinion...which I try not to get into. Everyone has their own taste and I try to respect that.

There's threads on Nasioc that'll show any width/offset you can think of for reference of "look" on the car OP.

8.5 +45 is not stance. 9.5 +35 is. The size I recommended is fine. 8.5" is stock STI width for his year.
