looking for a new exhaust

I have a 09 wrx bone stock and looking to get an exhaust for it. im not sure weather to get a turboback or a catback for it. im looking for something with an aggressive sound. not really looking to do any tunes yet seeing as I have an extended warranty for my car.

If your not into a re-tune then cat-back is your only option. The intake and exhaust is very sensitive on the 08+.

What are you hoping to gain out of your new exhaust, if you want more volume the q300 is pretty well liked around here. If you want something a bit quieter than the q300 i hear the maddad whisper is more agressive than stock without being too loud.

Depending on you noise tolerant nameless has a nice muffler delete that adds some raw volume.

im looking for that nice loud rumble. should I stay with the dual exhaust or should I go single I think that it looks better with the dual but I just want the subie sound

I like the tone from a dual, the split output has a very distinct tone. Hit youtube for some sound comparison. If you want raw volume I would look for some videos of the muffler deletes.

I really like my magnaflow. Great deep rumble but not annoying inside. There is one brand new for sale for 450 on clubwrx I believe. Well worth it.

Crawford Performance makes some high quality pieces. I'm running the Gymkhana 1 setup on my WRX, the axle back alone cost me 600 bucks but it was worth it.

Nameless Performance sells a great piece. (Axel back, a few options on the look, for fairly cheap).
I just got the single wall flush cut exhaust for $336 shipped to my doorstep. The stock exhaust, even though I have a 2013 WRX was hard to get off by myself. It is nice to have another pair of hands or a lift, but it is possible to do by yourself.

I give it two thumbs up!
