Looking 4 Some Help

Right now i own a 93 Subaru legacy Wagon that just hit 200k. I am looking to buy a new car and have decided I would like 2 find a 2002-2003 wrx wagon. I would like to spend about 12k or less, Im wondering what i should look for mileage wise . Also want to make sure no mods have been done.I know 2 look for the heat sheilds to still be intacked, but what else? What are some thing i need to look for?

You should be able to find on ein that price range with decent miles, the problem might be the modding. Best bet is to just take it to a reputable mechanic and have them give it a good look, maybe do a compression test and carfax the VIN also. Good luck with your search.
