Just did my Spark Plugs.
Well i do know my way around tools do to my job in the Navy. so i decided to tackle my spark plugs as i just got the car and have no clue when they were last done. So long story short it took me just over 2 hours to change them as there is no room as most people here know about. Once i started pulling out the plugs i had noticed that there was no Anti-seize on them so that was a pain to get them out and two of the four plugs had had been worn down to a gap of .040 and the other two were around .035 but now that my new plugs are in she does not have a stutter anymore so im a happy camper now. and she runs alot better. so i hope my MPG goes up a bit as she had not been running right.
I went with the pre setting of .030 as I had called my old man it's to figure how to read the spark plug gauge. And yes I know how to read all sorts of feeler and depth gauges from work. Just was. Wasn't sure how this one was read.but yes it does give ## a sense of pride knowing you did the work.
