I just got my new wrx 2.0 motor from jdm and I was wondering if there is anything different from the usdm 2.0?

I should have been more clear in my question I was wondering if there is a difference in horsepower and are the internals forged like i have herd from a few people in the jdm motors in general sorry for being so vague

You still haven't told us what motor you have. "JDM 2.0L" is quite generic as there are a boatload of JDM 2.0Ls. Nor have you stated if it's just the block or if everything will be swapped over and wired up.

Perhaps you're thinking of the EJ207? A JDM 205 would not have forged internals.
