umm it all depends on what you call bad...I've got the best possible coverage that progressive offers on mine with all my modifications covered (about 15K of mods) and my payment is under 200 a month

true..yeah idk i guess its hard to compare cause nj has like the highest car insurance rates in the country...but someone was telling me the normal wrx has the same "vin code??" as the STI so its considered a rally car by insurance companies..who knows maybe he was blowin smoke

again like I said it all depends...your best off calling different insurance companies in your area and getting quotes on whichever vehicles your looking into...b/c everyone here can tell you exactly how much they pay but it doesn't mean squat b/c everyones driving record, location, vehicle condition, security measures etc. are different

I went to netquote when I was shopping for my WRX...

Compare Insurance Rates, Get Insurance Quotes, Save Money with NetQuote

You plug in your info and then you'll get calls from a half dozen or so insurance agents in your area with quotes.

On a side note I ended up paying 124/month with Geico, then switched to State Farm and now I'm paying 74 a month- Full coverage, 500 deductible collision, 0 deductible comp., 100/300k limits. 23 years old no tickets.

Yeah people were telling me the same thing... that it was gonna be so much higher and blah blah blah...however while it was a little higher, it wasn't much. Also too I went from a 92 Integra to an 07 WRX and from collision to full so of course it was going to go up some...and I guess mine's pretty cheap over here in OH cause I pay like $510/6 mo.

I can't wait till I turn 25, hopefully still with no tickets or accidents. Either way State Farm seems like the company to go with, but that's just me. Plus they have all my aftermarket parts covered as long as I show receipts (minus depreciation).

I am with chase and basco. Do a little seaching and you will find alot of different quotes. It depends on ALOT of factors (age, drving record, full coverage, glass coverage... you get the point) I pay $74 a month with a MAJOR accident (totaled out my first WRX 1 year ago). It is different for everyone. Good luck!!!

Insurance has nothing to do with anyone but you and your area. Other people's rates will have nothing to do with yours. You're just gonna have to get a quote.

I've thought about switching to a different company. But State Farm has been good to me. I've had them since I was 16, and when I got in my wreck, they made everything simple. They might not be the cheapest, but they are definitely easy to deal with.

About USAA, how do I get it if I'm not a Govt. employee? What if I have a relative that has USAA, does that make me eligible? I know I can look this up with the internets!Laugh!,but I'm feeling a tad lazy atm.

Like everyone said above it depends on your age/driving record/location. But im a 20 year old male with 6 speeding tickets and my license suspended once and i have '10 wrx and i pay $778/6 months. however i live in colorado wich seems to cheaper on the insurance so like everyone said get quotes!
