mine pulls harder now so ill be watching for that white vette that passed me in my 78 plymouth while he was racing (lol) a basic pontiac GP. i laughed so hard on that one, that vette smoked him! but ive done 130, thats when i heard some noise i didnt like and let off, but it happens everytime i hit that speed.
I don't know how to post pics so i out a pic up as an attachment, it didn't seem to take long to get there and the tach was only at 6k but i wanted to make sure i had time to slow down.
i remember it as if it was yesterday........racing a 04 NSX down I-80E....i was going about 138 mph before i let off....and surprisingly that NSX didn't even leave me...i was about 2 cars behind him.....juss stuck......(i don't recommend going that fast on stock tires!!)
One of my buddies drove his Cobra 187mph on the highway, while racing a GT2 993 Porsche.
Well only he ended up getting pulled over and got a $2300 ticket for speeding, racing and wreckless driving. Also he got arrested, car was impounded for a month and lost his license for 3 yrs.
P.S. The guy in the Porsche is one of his neighboors, and still laughs his A** off.
fastest: 125 in turnpike (at 1 a.m.), wanted to do more but did not want to miss the exit ramp + stock tires. Next day I was going to do it at the same spot (same time), but luckly I did not. There was a state trooper (they do not mess around, here in Florida) right in the median, uffff that was some luck!!!!!
Ticket: 61/40, I did not have my radar, I went to court=no points but fine (they only want the money), that happened the month I bought my rex.
I hit 125 on the highway on the way home from Canada the other day and I thought my scoop was going to rip right off. I was playing around with my uncle in his 2000 stang. I definately won't do that again until after I get new tires.
