How do these upgrades sound for my 07?

Hey guys i recently grabbed an 07 WRX and wasn't looking to do much but SPT parts to keep the warranty valid. But after admiring many of your machines and also two spoiled rich kids with Evo's telling me i should've got an evo not a wrx, im did some reading and came up with these upgrades. Please tell me what you think, what should i add/remove and dont be afraid call me an idiot because i am a newbie. Thanks
Mike

Sounds like you like Cobb... a lot. And that's fine, they're a reputable company with great parts. That list sounds pretty good to me, although if you're trying to keep up with your friends' Evos, you'll probably still need a little more than that.

Well are you wanting to beat them on a road course or on a drag race?

Don't take offense to this, but learn to drive your car, by this I mean learn how it handles turns and learn it's characteristics, this will help more than most people realize. Also a good set of tires will help as well.

I would dump the heat shield, intake and pulley before I forget.

If you want to be comparable this is what you're gonna need.
Turboback exhaust - anything with a bellmouth or divorced wastegate design
Larger IC
EM - you seem to favor cobb
Turbo - 18g or VF22 or higher should be good
F/R Sway Bars - 22mm is a popular size
TIRES

You won't see much from pulley, intake, bracing, or heat shield.

i would take all that money and go do a 2/3 day driving school. and then you can laugh all day while you beat your friends evo like a drum in your bone stock wrx. nothing pops a big ego like getting waved at by your friend passing you on the outside in his bone stock ride.

^^ LMAO

Go small first (Cobb AP Stage 1) and then do some suspension and driving school wouldn't be bad!

Skip Barber

don't bother with racing schools unless you plan to pursue a career is race car driving (and have REALLY deep pockets). do a 1 day driving school or the 2 day performance driving school.

and its THE MOST important thing. period, full stop. if you cant drive the bone stock suspension to the limits why would you want to increase that limit at the expense of forgiving driving characteristics?
