It is easy. On my intake, the MAF on the intake tube; the black square held on by two bolts between the two clamps. The MAF in the picture below is stock, so yours will look the same, or similar. Just unscrew the two bolts holding it on and using a q-tip and rubbing alcohol, gently rub the 'dew drop' looking sensor portion. It will most likely look dull/dusty before you clean it. But once you clean it, it will look shiny again.

i believe the MAF sensor is actually up inside the unit. the "dewdrop" looking sensor is the air intake temp sensor from what i've been told. once you have it off, you can shine a light inside and you'll see 2 more sensors up inside. you may be able to clean it with a q-tip, but i've always been told to never touch the maf sensor with anything. just spray it down good with the cleaner and let it dry off.

it's an expensive piece, so handle with care!

Yes. It is. I stand corrected. Thanks! Spray that part only... try not to spray it 'directly' as it it could damage that portion.
