high flow cat

ok well here is my problem... i have emissions coming up and i have a cat-less TBE on my 03 Rex... now i was planning on getting the cobb ap and i found the turboXS high flow cat that will sit between my DP and midpipe and w/ that im thinkin ill be alright... but here in lies the problem, im tryin to figure out how something that is 2 feet longer to my exhaust wont make my exhaust stick out the back 2 feet more and how are my exhaust hangers supposed to line up? is it just going to have to be squezzed in there? im just not sure how they fit w/o cuttin something....

PS- ive been doin research for an hour and nothin talks about this so yes i did search it on this site, 2 others, and google

TXS uses a 3-piece TBE. Basically you swap out the middle piece. If your TBE is not TXS, it may not work without some welding (you'd cut out that 2 foot section).

Dude, What I've been told lately is that there isn't a visual inspection for emissions in PA. Just hook it up the computer and see if it throws a code or not. If your not throwing a code, you might be wasting money. Just something to think about.

unless you are in city limits of philly or pittsburg or in some other screwey county, they're supposed to check the ODB-II as well as do a visual. However, there's no reason to assume their visual will include jacking up the car to look at your exhaust anyway. It's mostly for tire checking.
