I Have The Spt Intake And It Is More Than I Hope For. You Dont Even Need To Buy An Aftermarket Bov Because It Sounds So Good. And Despite What People Say About How It Makes Your Car Run Lean, I Ask 10 Different Companies And They Said You Would Be Fine. I Have Cobb Stage 2 And It Still Doesnt Run Lean.

Yes, you will hear all the sounds that you want to hear with a SPT intake. You can hear the turbo spooling and the "BOV" woosh in between shifts. Sounds awesome.

Not all intakes make cars run lean and honestly you probably have no idea if your car is running lean or not.I don't take what other people say as gospel,I trust what my gauges tell me.But yes,the SPT is one of the ones that does not cause a lean condition. This is know information so don't just generalize the fact that everyone claims that every intake causes a lean condition.

Yeah, it's usually obvious what they're trying to type, but sometimes it's not that big of a deal to type that extra 1 letter to avoid seeing ###.

An SPT intake will give you what you want. Except ginormous horsepower gains.

I noticed a massive increase in HP. I'm guessing I got anywhere from 80-100 HP FOR SURE. I mean, I was stock, I got beat by a Z06 vette 1/4 mile, I put the intake in and I smoked him the next time at the track

Im in the same boat as you subarooster, assuming your WRX is stock. Basically what I get from this is that you can put an SPT intake on a stock wrx and have it run fine for the rest of it's life without tuning it while getting to hear all the beautiful sounds of a turbocharged engine and no consiquences(SP?)? I hate to be redundant but I'm just looking for a straight answer to the same question.

With all due respect guys, you aren't getting a straight answer because there is sticky FAQ at the top of the forum with more then enough info, pros and cons, benefits and negative effects the different intakes have on our cars. Check it out. It even talks about making your car go "whoosh" if that's all you care about getting out of a turbo car.
