grimmspeed heat shield install without brackets

I just got a grimmspeed heat shield for my 2004 wrx and can't install because the top bracket is missing and the bottom bolt is broken off. Does anyone have an idea for attaching the heat shield. I don't want a heat blanket and I would prefer not to spot weld a bracket. Please help

You should be able to find the top bracket online via classifieds (admittedly, Nasioc has the best classifieds around).

The top bracket just bolts to the downpipe bolts.

What's wrong with the bottom mount hole, a bolt is broken off in it? IF that's the case you should be able to get some pliers on the back side and twist it all the way through, I had to do that once. Those bolts snap with about 1/2 turn too much torque.

I think I might have a spare turbo heat shield bracket laying around... I could check if you're interested.

I just installed the grimme speed on mine 06 Wrx and that bolt is a pain in the ass whether it's snapped or not. Had to air ratchet the bolt off .the bottom shield your talking about is extremely flimsy and bends when you try to soon the bolt on.
