Glowshift pillar pod 3 guages

I just purchased my 04 pearl blue WRX on 10-29-04. I do not plan on heavy modification but do want guages for boost, AFR, and oil pressure. I have read the tuning guide and it stated that no gauge is better than any other just a personal taste. I have also read that wide band is better than narrowband when it comes to the AFR. That being said, I was looking on Ebay and found a 3 gauge pillar pod from glow shift. Since I do not plan on doing any heavy modifications except turbo back exhaust, BOV(undecided), ECU, possibly UTEC stage 2 if not replace upand down pipe. Would this guage be sufficient for my needs listed above. I do not plan on any of those mods anytime soon except for gauges and BOV.

I will not link to ebay but to the manufacturer site just to show the gauge.

for the set all togather it is around $140 with shipping.

please fell free to recommend others if this will not work that well.

That won't work. It is made for narrow-band sensors like the Autometer gauge. You need a gauge that comes with its own sensor. The WRX uses a semi-wideband sensor, and narrow-band gauges won't work on it. But, it's not a true wideband so you can't just hook a wideband gauge up to it.

If it were me, I would get a Greddy 60mm electronic boost gauge, a Greddy O2 gauge, and a Greddy EGT gauge.

As far as gauges go, choose what you want. There are Defi, A'pexi, GReddy, Blitz, HKS, AutoMeter, and Stewart-Warner. Its your preference. As far as your mods list goes, you should be fine, except for the BOV. If you run an open-air BOV with the WRX, it causes the engine to run extremely Rich. If you do decide to run an open-air BOV, your'll have to lean out your AF Ratio. Thats where your gauges will come in handy. Hop this helps. I've included links below incase you need to look around.
Cheers!

the gauge was ok. i called it the GLARE shift. in the day it was just a glare you saw. and as for the pillar. i had a single pod and it didnt fit. looks like they just hacked one part off the tripple pod. lol for pods i only stick with autometer...
