hey i am looking at a 2003 wrx and it has a bad fuel leak well not bad but yea the guy said that it was some really cmmon leak when it gets cold some clamp starts leaking under the manifold im not sure what he was saying but i was wondering if anyone might know what im talking about and the check engine light is on
i used to have an 02 wrx, the hose hes talkin about is on the right side of the engine under the manifold. it leads to the fuel rail. the hose/metal line is redesigned because it was a common problem, im sure a local subie dealer would stock it
and im sure the CEL has nothin to do with that, if your at the subie dealer get it checked or go to like a local auto zone or a parts store like that and ###### get it checked for free
I just had the same problem with my car the dealer tighted up all the clamps on the hose, since then i have only smelled fuel once or twice when i start the car to warm it up in the morning but thats it.
