I was wondering about how much a dyno would cost around my area, and what boost you get out of in 02 WRX with a perrin radiator and K&N filter and STI exhaust, Im currently in between 7-8PSI does that sound about right?
Okay, asking about pricing of dyno tuning is like asking how much carpet installation costs. It all depends on who you go too.It is not a fixed price across the country/state.7-8psi max is not right depending on which gear you are referencing. You should be seeing 13 psi in 4th and 5th gear.

Yeah, I was just more curious of a guesstimate, and as far as 4th and 5th gear I will test it out tomorrow when my clutch is installed and see what I can get out of it.
If its on a dyno the rate is anwywhere from usually 200-500 dollars. But like mentioned above very different depending on what you are tuning for and who is doing it.

Ouch! Oh yeah, AWD dyno's are probably more expensive.... On my VW forum, someone had his dyno'd for $100 for 5 dyno pulls. But I guess the AWD dyno's are more complicated and cost more. 200-500 sounds like a good guesstimate...
That's $100 per driven wheel... That's actually pretty accurate if you think about it.
A dyno tune and a dyno run are two differnt things.........
If you just want to get a dyno graph of your HP and TRQ curves that is a dyno run and will cost significantly less than getting a dyno tune which involves tuning your car on a dyno and providing you a before and after dyno graph of your HP and TRQ curves.
