Driving Schools

Are there any on road driving schools that use the WRX or STI as the track car?

Basically I'm looking for a Skip Barber type school without all that dodge machinery hanging around.

There is one here. It's called the Chad and Joey driving school. Bring your WRX down and we'll show you how to drive it around on the tight, twisty, gravel covered roads here. You will have to be certified on Joey's Metro before we let you loose in a WRX however...

Do you get the opportunity to wrap Chad or Joey's WRX around a tree?

I'd only drive them if they first added some fly neons, body kits, aluminum wings, limo tint on all the windows, and added 50 hp worth of stickers... (the poor car that this would ever happen to !Cry!)

Gotta look good before I drive good. !Laugh!

You should note when Joey tells you to floor it before the bridge there is gravel in the road in the curve and you will shat your self if you hit it at 90+ mph like I did.

Finally an American 4 with balls.

So are there a lot of WRX owners in Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Roanoke VA?

I just bought my 2004 WRX. Haven't dont anything to it. I may never mod it since i dont race and the wife would kill me for spending that kind of money.

I would like to learn about it though so i can diagnose issues if i have any and that sort of thing.

Well, just off the top of my head, I can think of 10 in the Roanoke/Salem area (wait, make that 11) and many more at Tech and the surrounding area. I can also think of a certain crippled white WRX wagon in Floyd...
