Anyways....when you are accelerating from rest, and doing the clutch and gas play, does your car rattle a lot adn it doesnt stop until you depress the clutch again? Cause sometimes it happens to me, but ussually after cold starts..

Yeah I rattle. Annoying at hell. The new ones don't do it cause they have rubber on the heat shield mounts or something like that.

I don't have any heat shields and my car rattles....

No, no... I mean does your CAR rattle? Or its more like shake when you do the clutch and gas play during a cold start????

No. But, the '02 models were recalled for clutch shudder, which it sounds like yours has. An Subaru dealer should be able to fix it free of charge.

Yeah, I have the same problem. Normally when the drive train and engine is cold. After it warms up, I don't normally have the problem. I just live with it.

Yeah...after the engine warms-up it doesn't happen. But, will it damage anything or wearout anything?
