Alright so if i were to get a upgraded short ram air or cold air + turbo back exhaust, would the cobb v3 accessport already have the right tuning as is when u plug it in? Or would i still need a full dyno tune? Trying to save money here. Any suggestions boxter heads??
yup, just make sure you buy the right intake that goes with the map you load. a stage 2 + sf or aem will work. this should help..https://cobb.app.box.com/SUBA-US-WRX-09-14-Intake although everyone says a dyno tune is better.
blaze is right a dyno tune will cost the same or less as the v3. i assumed you already had a cobb AP. if you just want a tune without the added functionality of the AP go with the dyno tune.
Although going back to stock and monitoring is what's nice about the AP. You can literally monitor just about everything your cars doing just by plugging it in and selecting what you want to veiw.
I've changed maps three times now within a year without leaving my property.
