Cobb AP

I'm looking to buy a Cobb AP as my first mod for my WRX. I was looking online and saw that Gruppe-S has the Cobb for $645 with free shipping and it includes some of their custom maps. I was looking on the forums and couldnt find anything about their custom maps and was wondering if anyone preferred them to the Cobb maps. I also just wanted to make sure that Gruppe-S is a good place to buy a Cobb from, or if there is a better place to get it.

I always think that it's best to buy directly form Cobb and you can always call them and ask for custom maps ore anything you need.

The 06 has an extra circuit board or something in it that raises it to 645.00, from the standard 595.00 on the 02-05. And that 's from COBB's site. Scoobytuner.com is a good place to get them as well. They are an official "Cobb dealer", And they'll usually work with you when it comes to things such as that. Plus they have free shipping as well and the guys there are VERY friendly. It's a good buy man I HIGHLY recommend one!

Thanks for all your help, one other question though. If I do have to bring my car back into the dealer for work, will the "revert to stock" really make it undetectable to the dealership that I was running with a Cobb?

That's an affirmative. When you purchase the a.p. it will have an instruction booklet inside that will answer all your questions. If it doesn't then Cobb is only a phone call away. You can go on thier website and download a copy of the instruction booklet.
