cobb accessport CEL clearing

Hi everyone. i have a quick question about the cobb accessport. would i be able to have the accessport keep O2 sensor CEL from popping up permanently? -thanks

i dont think so. i had a cel after cobb install and cleared it out,but it would always pop back on every few days after i cleared the code

If you reflash to a stg. 2 it should, but not on a stg.1

You can use a mechanical fix for that. It's a spark plug defouler. You can find them on Ebay for cheap and it works...

so it would just be screwed on the O2 sensor and installed in the downpipe?

Or WITH the AP in ATR, you can check off the codes and then reload the map into the AP and then back into the car.

Cobb's stage 2 map disables the rear O2 code. If the light is still on you have a different problem.

hmmm, well ill probably end up doing the fouler fix once i get a cattless downpipe since to me its the cheapest way to get more hp and avoid cel. thanks guys for your help!

Actually getting the tune is a better way to get more hp. The DP will do very little to help with horsepower on an untuned car.
