change of oil

Kinda curious to know if it would hurt if I would change brands of oil. Been using Castrol Syntac but have been considering changing over to a different brand such as Mobil 1 or something else along those lines. Thanks for the input.

since your car is fairly new, you could switch to mobil 1 synth....i use the 5w30

As long as you are not switching types of oil (ie: different weight, dyno to synthetic, ect...) you should be fine, as long as you don't have a lot of miles on your car. If you do, then just simply do an engine flush with a quality product such as Amsoil Engine Flush. Very simple to do, and cleans out any varnishes or deposits in your engine.

I used Syntac 5w-30 when I changed it the first time. Getting close to my second one and have hear some good reviews on Mobil 1.

Around my area nobody sells Amsoil products. Can you buy that engine flush online anywhere?

check out www.amsoil.com I think you can buy direct from them, or you will probably find a store on line that stocks it.
