CEL and catless downpipe HELP!

I want to get an up pipe and a downpipe and not have any problems with CELS and I would rather not have to buy a 'fix' to fool the sensors. I understand there are 2 cats in the dp and 1 in the up pipe. If this is true, am I ok with getting a catless up pipe and a catted dp?

Sure you're ok with that, but it doesn't mean you won't get a CEL with it. CEL fixes are cheap though, and free if you get a Cobb AP or a UTEC as those will remove the codes.

Why would I get a CEL if I had a cat. I thought that was the whole point behind a catted dp. If I would still get a CEL then what's the point of a catted dp???

Having a catted downpipe just makes it more legal like when you do emissions checks. You may throw a cel you may not.
