Can I sell my AccessPORT to another year WRX?

Yeah, perfect question for a Noob forum I guess. Basically I traded in my 2010 WRX (needed a truck) and Im trying to sell my COBB accessport and intake, I know the intake will fit 08+ WRX's and STI's, but what about the accessport? I know it will plug into 08+ WRX's and STI's but what about the maps?

They can be updated or loaded from Cobbs website. As long as the Sub number is the same for the different years, it will be alrite. If you have doubts email or call Cobb directly.

what about when I plugged in the accessport it would say to verify that its being used on a 2010 WRX?

If this is the one you have :
CobbTuning.com - '09-'12 AccessPORT

Then the user you sell it to will have to go download their specific (if it's a different yr) maps from cobbtuning.com

Exactly what Paul and I said. Just look on Cobbs site, and again if you are having difficulty understanding, or unsure, call or email Cobb. Its their product, they can tell you exactly what you are looking for.

Also any custom maps made for your car are incompatible on all other cars, including other 2010 WRX's. And make sure you unmarry it to your car or else it won't function. Unmarrying it from your car means restoring your map to stock if you are on a non-stock mapped from the AP.

Very good points Mosc. Please listen to the above advice OP so that the buyer doesnt get an expensive paperweight.
