So I'm fairly confident that I've looked at every thread about SeaFoam / Sea Foam, and I was unable to get the exact information that I needed. I'm preparing to Sea Foam my car (2006 WRX), and I'm unsure of what the Brake Booster line is (I know very little about automobiles etc.). I went to "Jiffy Lube" and asked a guy and he pointed to this (see image, green highlight). He told me to detach (at the green arrow) and that is an appropriate vacuum line to be using.
My Questions Are:
1. Is that the appropriate line to be using for the Sea Foam (if not what is)?
2. When I tried to detach the hose (at green arrow) after removing the clamp I was unsuccessful; do I really have to yank at it or is there some better (gentler) way of doing it?
Don't use the booster line.Use the BPV line. The booster line is coming off off one of the runner so only the #3 cylinder will get foamed. The BPV is coming off the center of the manifold and will distribute the product evenly between the cylinders.

I was always advised the booster hit ALL cylinders.
Ron, give us a pic of where on the valve.
I thought so as well untill I looked at the vac line for the booster alittle closer. The brake booster line connects to the #3 runner on the intake manifold.
