Agreed I had a turbo xs hybrid on mine and once I switched back to the stock one it was such a difference. Most waste of 150$ I ever spent

BOV's are 99% garbage and need adjusted.
Your stocker bpv is better unless your built heavy.
If you want the sound you need to put a plug on the intake hose down under your tmic.

IMHO, go back to stock unless you like being the guy that stalls out at every red light and has a car that reeks of gas

I have had many BOV's, all were expensive paper weights. I run the stocker now and am tickled pink

Very good idea you'll be much happier with downpipe and Cobb to stage 2

i believe the valve he has has a recirculating option. is that what makes the stock one better or is it all aftermaket valves? because i think he has a valve that can be either. not sure maybe i read the ad wrong...?

Yea,your right. He didn't know it was a noisemaker that decreases performance until we told him.

We need to get him a subscription to Grassroots Motorsports and introduce him to auto-cross and the SCCA so we can nip this in the bud.

The sensation is as hard to forget as it is to ignore!!!

Aftermarket intake will give you 75% of the sound of an atmospheric bov, using the OEM bpv. You can't just slap an intake on though, you need to be tuned for it to be safe in the long run.

Get the dp and an intake of your choice, then get tuned. That should keep you happy.
