I thought you were talking about the sensor in the uppie. That would be the EGT,the one to use the resistor cel fix on. Not the front o2 sensor. I've never heard of anyone putting a resistor in that one before, for any reason. I don't even know what that would do.

I've also never heard of anyone fixing a cel from the rear o2 sensor with a resistor. Just an anti-fouler fix or a tune can do that as I understand.
Just to be clear...

If the front o2 sensor is bad replace it.

If the rear o2 sensor is bad or throws a cel ,use an anti-fouler fix or replace it.

If the EGT is bad and you still have a cat there replace it.

If not remove it,plug it and do the resistor.

All right, where is the distributor cap? I need to find the #1 plug wire to hook up my SUN machine.

Haha, you're such an ass.

Words taken from you:

Step one: place BOV in hand
Step two: open trash can
Step three: drop BOV in trash can
Step four: take out trash

Problem solved....

Or something like that.. Hahaha
