Bought 08 WRX, Need Help with Steering Angle Sensor
I just bought an 08 WRX Wagon. It has a fair bit of mods on it, but it also has a fair bit of dash lights glowing. It currently has the TC, Downhill Assist, ABS, and TPMS lights glowing. I took it to the dealer and they did a computer diagnostic and found that it needed a new Steering Angle Position Sensor, but they wanted $360 for the sensor, and another $300 for the labor!
I was looking around online for a cheaper option and found this...

I know many 08-Up Impreza/WRX/STI parts are interchangeable and was wondering if this would be a valid replacement?
Also, is replacing this sensor something a fairly experienced DIY mechanic can install. I know it needs to be calibrated, but Im not sure if it is something that has to be done at the dealer? Let me know what yal think!
Never got to a dealer unless you have a warranty still.
300 for the labor is just ridiculous. Go to local shops and price shop, i am sure you can find someone to do it for way less.

That's a given!
Anyone know if that sensor will work?
